The Canal du Midi

One of the most famous French navigation canals, the Canal du Midi connects Toulouse to the Mediterranean Sea, almost 240 km. Construction was completed on May 15, 1681 and the Canal du Midi was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. All along the canal, you will enjoy having a coffee on the terrace, relax on the banks and rest in the heart of nature. Discover this impressive structure with its average depth of 2 meters and its almost 350 locks. 

An excursion to Albi

Only an hour's drive from the Pink City, discover Albi, the episcopal city. During your visit, don't miss the Sainte-Cécile Cathedral, adjacent to the Palais de la Berbie. This set impresses with the orange color of its brick and its remarkable dimensions. Art lovers can visit the Toulouse-Lautrec museum. For a more relaxing visit, enjoy Vieil Albi, the historic center of the town.
